The PTF installation is designed to determine the maximum temperature of filterability of diesel fuels.
The main features of the installation of PTF:
  • Automatic determination of the maximum temperature of the filterability of the sample. Two independent measurement channels.
  • Three measurement modes for each channel: automatic, semi-automatic and manual.
  • The operator sets the test start temperature (TNI) for each channel.
  • Audible alarm when the sample temperature approaches the next temperature point, starting from the TNI.
  • Audible alarm when the sample temperature approaches one of the following temperatures: -20.0 °C; -35.0 °C.
  • Maintaining and viewing the test log for each channel.
  • Test mode to check the health of the installation.
  • Automatic adjustment of the sensitivity of optical level sensors.
  • Cryostat temperature control via RS-232 interface.
